Benefique: The Star That Could is an illustrated children’s story about a little boy who lives on a star that does not glow. Determined to reach the moon and find friendship, Benefique tries one idea after another, discovering that even the attempts that seem to fail can carry us somewhere unexpected.
Created over ten years, the story gradually took its final form alongside Roskamala’s own experience with Carl Jung’s concept of individuation. What began as a children’s story became something deeply personal—a book she considers a gift to herself and now wishes to share with children everywhere.
