Kiss Me Amnesia

A cinematic music video filmed in Seattle and directed by Roskamala in collaboration with Smokescreen Media. The story follows a young man attempting to outrun his past as shame and memory surface through fragmented scenes that blur the line between what is real and what is buried.

An exploration of avoidance, repression, and the patterns we carry into relationships, Kiss Me Amnesia received the Best Pop Music Video award at the Hollywood Stage Script Film Competition in 2025.

Chameleon

Filmed in Los Angeles as part of the Truth She Told EP, Chameleon was one of four music videos created over an eleven-day production period. Roskamala wrote the screenplay, developed the concept, and starred as a devoted mother navigating a toxic relationship while caught between family loyalty and self-worth.

Through a stylized narrative, the film explores perception, conflict, and the reality that justice is not always served. Chameleon received two awards at the 2023 International Songwriting Competition (ISC).

Out Of The Maze

Directed by Zane and creatively led by Roskamala, the film follows a lonely robot navigating human life while longing for a simple connection—something as ordinary as sharing a cup of coffee with someone who truly sees her. Surrounded by distraction and disconnection, she is forced to confront her own sense of isolation.

A stylized exploration of identity and belonging, the story examines what it takes for someone who feels like an outsider to find their place. At its core, the film reflects a simple idea: belonging begins with self-acceptance, and meaningful connection often follows.

Beautiful Disease

A psychological exploration of inner conflict, the film follows a mind caught between impulse and choice. Thoughts emerge automatically, pulling in different directions, while action remains a conscious decision. Through a series of internal struggles, the story traces the tension between overthinking, false beliefs, resistance, forward movement, and the consequences that follow.

The film examines personal responsibility—the idea that while thoughts may arise on their own, we ultimately choose which ones to act upon. In doing so, it explores how those choices shape both our experience and our lives.

Loving Mess

Set in a candy-colored world where nothing is quite as it seems, the film follows a Barbie doll created for perfect appearances yet longing for genuine connection. Programmed without agency, she reaches for love while struggling against the forces that keep her confined. Through a stylized narrative, the story explores desire, control, and the expectations surrounding romance, questioning whether love can ever be manufactured, demanded, or forced.

Roskamala wrote the original song and screenplay, developed the concept and characters, and starred as the doll. The film examines the tension between image and authenticity, exploring the distance between how love is presented and how it is truly experienced.
