Oil stick on canvas

Inter Nos explores the space between individuality and connection through an arrangement of color, form, and interruption. Geometric structures meet softer, irregular shapes, while areas of openness allow each element to exist independently within the larger composition.

Created entirely with oil stick, the work retains the immediacy of drawing while carrying the physical presence of painting. Dense fields of ochre, crimson, black, blue, and earth tones create shifting relationships of weight and movement across the surface. Lines divide and connect; forms overlap, approach, and pull away.

Rather than resolving these contrasts, Inter Nos allows them to coexist. The composition considers how distinct forms can occupy a shared space without surrendering their individuality—a reflection on distance, connection, and the quiet structures that exist between us.
